in the last few days, i've subscribed to probably 50+ catalogs...
i think it's because i desperately want mail... & because i'm too poor to buy magazines...
i've found myself requesting catalogs from the staple Vickie's [victoriasecret.com] to Wine Country Gift Baskets [winecountrygiftbaskets.com].
(When the wine one came, Bazinga said "wine gifts? seriously?" then we sat looking at it for a good 15 mins, hahahha)
i obviously don't have money to actually BUY much of anything from these catalogs, but it's fun to browse.
I think that one of my favs has always been Uncommon Goods [uncommongoods.com].
Do you know of any super awesome catalogs that i should subscribe too? Comment me & lemme know!!!
If i find any really great ones, i'll post about it.
ps: yes, i realize how lame my life has become...
the only other news that i have to update you all with is that my tan has greatly improved, i have gotten a library card, & i've read three more books. haha, oh, & i have cable!
i've also been cooking (i made BOMB chicken noodle aka Chickey Noodey soup & managed to pull together a whole meal last night while cooking brownies! ... here i come "Housewife of the Year"... arent' you supposed to have a rock on your finger before you can be called a housewife? hmm....).
i'lll be sure to update the books i've read shortly.

So I just subscribed to Uncommon Goods and can't wait to get it! I don't have any suggestions really but I remember growing up (well, early teens so about 10 years ago) my mom would get Spiegel catalogs and I loved looking through them at all the nice kitchen wares and bedding. If only I had an endless supply of money....
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's just the guy in me, but I don't get the browse. If I see, I will want to get, which is why I usually send the book of the month club thing back without looking at the catalog.
