If you've been reading Spanky luvs it for a while, you'll probably know (or at least be able to guess) that i'm a pretty big fan of Brett Michaels.

If you use watch entertainment news, or even regular news, you probably know that B. Michaels suffered a brain hemorage after an emergency appendectomy on April 12th & has been in the ICU for a while. While in the ICU, he has also been treated for hyponatremia, a sodium deficiency that can cause seizures.

[eek! poor brett!!!]

His reps are saying (as of the most recent news update, from 3 hours ago) that things are looking up & it looks like he'll be able to rock again, sooner than expected!!!

my thoughts are with him. I hope that he can battle this, just as he has battled everything else!
... being diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at the age of 6, being the frontman of rock'n hair band, Poison, making a stellar comeback as a reality TV star, failing to find love on not one, not two, but THREE dating shows, and working for Donald Trump!!!

[this is just another sad, sad song for this cowboy...]

season premiere: How to Make it in America

i FINALLY caught up with the new HBO show...

it's a 30 min show on at 1030 on Sundays staring my sexy hot future husband [he's # 2 on my list after Shia],

Bryan Greenberg.

probably the coolest thing about this show, is how i heard about it. Straight from the mouth of my future hubby himself! B. Greenberg had Kid Kudi [who plays Domingo] come out & sing a duet with him & then they announced the show at the concert of his i went to with JenBunny last summer. The concert was at the Highline Ballroom in NYC.

it's a great show that really unfolded nicely so far.  It follows B. Greenberg as Ben Epstein & his best friend Cam, played by Victor Rasuk [Stop-Loss], as they attempt to "Make it" in New York City.

i'm personally, so far, in luv with it.

 
if you have HBO, give it a watch. it's really good & i hope that people watch it so it sticks around.

a letter from Spanky: Too Hot Tuesdays

 

Dear Readers,

So, i've been taking careful notes on the posts that i write & how many comments/interest they get. 

ironically enough, the posts that take the most time & stress are the Too Hot Tuesdays & i never rarely see any interest in them. 

- is it the guys i'm picking? [do you not like my taste in men? weirdos.]

- is it just not all that interesting listening to me drool over celebu-ducks i probably never will one day meet?

- too much/ too little info?

i'd really like to know if i should continue with these posts, make them semi-regular, or just nix them all together?
