just an FYI, i've been moderating the comments left on the bliggity. 

i'm only doing this so i make sure that i don't miss any of the wonderful things that you all say.

so far, i'm luving that i see every comment, but the only thing i don't like is that i haven't been able to find a way to easily click back through to the person who left it!

You all did it!!! You made my dreams (well.. this one..) come true! Damn, i guess i should have made the goal a little higher!!!

Well, here i am, little 22 year old me, with 23 followers and 29 days until my birthday (the 27th)... shit.

It hadn't donned on me until i looked at the number of followers i had that i remembered The Enigma of 23... oOoOoOoOo!!!

If you haven't seen the Jim Carrey movie... see it. It's kinda crazy, but it's entertaining & it's beautifully done.

i'm warning you though... you won't be able to help it.. you WILL start adding up EVERYTHING... (my sister & i did it in the car on the way back from the theatre... it's kiiiinda creepy!)

23 is said to be found in many places. numbers adding up to 23, letters being added up by their alphabetical position adding up to 23, historical events coming out to 23 (Julius Caesar was stabbed 23 times) even down to the fact that humans have 46 chromosomes, 23 from each parent.

(bible verse selectfully edited to prove my point, but then again, which verse isn't...?)

admittedly, i have realized that the number usually comes up when ones is looking for it. striving to find that 23 & receive a rush of belief...

For words, you write out the alphabet & assign their position numbers, (a=1, b=2, c=3, w=23!), then apply that against the letters in your word (S=19, a=1, r=18, a=1) and add them together (19+1+18+1=39). Now... if it comes to 23 then & there, you'll probably stop.. but.. if it doesn't, you'll subconsciously tell yourself that you have to keep working it....

my last name comes to 62. 39 & 62 = 101 so, from there, i could go into some craziness (which is shown in the movie... discrediting the theory a bit...) where i start counting up the letters in my name (11) & trying to work with that, but then you get into some nutso bullshit like

"there are 11 letters in my name, my name adds up to 101, 101+11 is 112, 11 times 2 is 22, i'm the first born, 22+1 is 23! OMG I'M CURSED!!!"

that's crap... if you can't get there on simple math... just accept that the system isn't perfect...

but.. what DID happen... is that i went the subtraction route.
